Prevent ecological Disaster, Go Solar

It’s not a doomsday message. The fossil fuels are depleting at a rapid rate. Globally, there is a thrust towards even leaner sources such as shale for meeting our insatiable demand for oil. In the meanwhile, the ozone layer is under threat. There is evidence of global warming for all to see. Incidents unheard of are happening that only confirm what we were guessing all along, that it’s a disaster waiting to happen. All that we can do now is to shift to renewable sources of energy instead of the fossil fuels. The alternatives are there. These are hydroelectric power, wind energy, geothermal sources and biomass sources besides solar installers.

There are solar installers that are highly professional bodies. The expertise covers cooling besides heating and both the distillation and cleansing of water. The solar installer will look after both corporate problems as well as those of the residences. The methodology is simple enough. The solar energy falling on photovoltaic cells that are also known as solar cells is converted to DC electricity. The DC is used to charge a bank of batteries and later gets converted to AC. This power is next supplied to a grid parallel to the utility grid. The interesting bit is that the solar installer will give you a system known as net metering. By this system when you do not use the solar energy the power is fed to the utility grid instead. This makes your meter run backwards proportionate to the amount of energy you have delivered!
